The transport infrastructure in Kerala is a joke like the its counterpart in rest of India. A start to correct this scenario can be made by punishing the officers responsible for maintaining traffic lights in good condition. A good majority of bureaucrats like the politicians in India believe that they are accountable to none and get away with dereliction of their duties with no consequences.
