Cricketer Yuvraj Singh arrived at  Parliament in the capital to meet with Prime Minister Narendra Modi to extend an invitation for his marriage with model and actress Hazel Keech. The wedding of the cricketer-cum-actor is scheduled for November 30 in Chandigarh. The couple had engaged in April in a low-key, private ceremony.

The traditional gurdwara wedding will take place in Chandigarh on November 30 which will be followed by another wedding as per Hindu rituals in Goa on December 2. Close friends and relatives are expected to be at this function.

The sangeet and reception will be held in Delhi on December 5 and December 7, respectively. While the venue for the sangeet is a farmhouse near Chattarpur, the reception will be at a city hotel.

Yuvraj’s father had revealed that the couple will have a “small” wedding. The wedding is reported to be an intimate affair with 60 guests, which will include Yuvraj’s close friends, family and fellow cricketers from both the Ranji team and the national team. “We are holding the sangeet, mehendi and reception on the same day, followed by a gurdwara shaadi, after which we will take Hazel for ‘darshan’ of our guru Baba Deep Singh Ji,” Yograj Singh had said to Mid-Day.

Where is it said that Modi accepted the invitation?? Dont talk before reading clearlylt;br/gt;FYI, Iam a keralite, and I can vouch for it personally, that the communist govt in our state is a curse for the people, with their political killings and indifference to people.lt;br/gt;The govt of kerala only has had time to "update the details of sufferings"(many of which are caused by their own party killling innocents across the state), not to do anything about it. Dont blame modi for everything

This Prime Minister of ours has found the time to meet Yuvraj Singh but cannot find the time to meet the kerala delegation who had requested him for a audience, to present and update him details of the sufferings of the people of the state. The sufferings have been clearly caused by announcement of a shoddy thought out and implemented scheme. The main motives of which are suspect in the eyes of the suffering public.
