Indian Test Captain Virat Kohli scored a double century on the fourth day of fourth test match against England at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Sunday. Kohli, after reaching the landmark, became the first Indian batsman to score three Test double centuries in a calendar year. On a deceiving Wankhede pitch, that gave troubles to set batsmen, Kohli cemented his name as one of the best batsmen in the modern era.

After losing quick wickets in succession on Day three, Kohli who had not even reached his century landmark showed his determination and skills on the field and stayed on the crease, along with Jayant Yadav who also scored his first half century in test cricket.
Earlier this year, he had scored a double century against West Indies when India toured the Caribbean Islands in June-July. That was his first double century in Tests. Against England, Kohli brought up the milestone in 302 balls with 23 fours but no sixes.
Maachis toh yun hi Badnaam hai ,
Aag toh Kohli ne laga rakhi hai.
The Best by some distance. Period.#IndvsEng
