Put into bat at the Reliance Stadium, Baroda rode on Hardik Pandya’s 48 and Irfan’s 12-ball stormy stay at the wicket to post a challenging 181 for five in 20 overs. Irfan then turned up with the ball to help pack MP for 128 in 16.4 overs.

Punjab thrash Tripura
Punjab captain Harbhajan Singh continued with his good form in the Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 tournament as his team easily beat Tripura by 8 wickets to keep their quarter-final hopes alive.
Batting first, Tripura were bundled out for 96 in 18 overs with Samrat Singha scoring 23. In reply Punjab scored the runs in 15.3 overs losing only two wickets.

Saurashtra beat Rajasthan by 25 runs

Opting to bat, Saurashtra posted 140 for the loss of five wickets and then bundled out Rajasthan for 115 in 19.3 overs.

Tamil Nadu are on top of group A with 12 points from four games and still have two more to play. The Rajagopal Sathish-led team looks good for a berth in the quarter-finals of the tournament.

Leg-spinner Sharma, who had figures of 5/24 in his four overs, bamboozled Goa batsmen who could score just 116 for nine in 20 overs while chasing 166 for a win at the Reliance Stadium.
