Khan also said that an India-Pakistan is much bigger than the Ashes.

“The India-Pakistan series is even more important than the Ashes,” he said.

The last time India played Pakistan in an bilateral series was in 2012/13 when Pakistan came to India for two T20I and three ODIs.

The T20I series was tied 1-1 while the ODI series was won by Pakistan 2-1.

Do not let politicians interfere into sports, entertainment and other fields. They are common people interaction grounds across the globe. People have nothing to take with wars and hatred, they want to lead a normal life, its just politicians. I welcome this step.

No reason for India to rush into a contract now. PCB needs this more than BCCI. India has a fantastic sports rivalry going with Australia. This has replaced the earlier rivalry with stan. Let them cook/simmer for a while longer.
