Kirti Azad, Amit Shah, DDCA, Arun Jaitley, Narendra Modi, Kirti Azad Amit Shah, politics news Kirti Azad said that between 1999 and 2013 there were numerous instances of financial and accounting irregularities, which points to corruption in the cricket association.

BJP MP Kirti Azad on said he will “expose biggest DDCA corruption” and “unmask the impostor” on Sunday at a press conference, rebuffing party’s attempts to dissuade him from going public with his allegations said to be targeting Arun Jaitley.

The MP from Bihar also appeared to be taking a dig at the finance minister over his reported description of him as a “Trojan horse”. “Not a Trojan horse but Achilles heel; wait till I unmask the ‘behroopiya’ (impostor),” Azad said in a tweet.

“Will expose biggest DDCA corruption with audio-visual tomorrow at 4 pm,” he said in another tweet and quoted a poem of BJP stalwart Atal Bihari Vajpayee to suggest that he will carry on and not “concede” defeat.

BJP chief Amit Shah had called Azad on Friday to impress upon him that he should not go ahead with his charges at a time when opposition parties, especially AAP, have gone after Jaitley over the alleged corruption in DDCA when he headed the cricket body.

Azad had, however, later reiterated his decision of holding a press conference on Sunday. Talking to The Indian Express Azad said: “There are a dozen companies to which over Rs 50 crore has been paid during the period 2008 to 2013 and these are either fake companies or payment has been made for works that have not been carried out. There are fake bills to prove all this. Most of these companies don’t even exist.”

The BJP MP from Darbhanga also said that between 1999 and 2013, a period during which Jaitley was the president of the DDCA, there were numerous instances of financial and accounting irregularities, which points to corruption in the cricket association.

“As president of the DDCA, Jaitley has signed on the balance sheets and during these years there has been financial and accounting irregularities in the DDCA. This is a time for answers,” he said.

Azad skips cricket match

Azad, meanwhile, also skipped the annual ‘Batting For Life’ cricket match between Parliamentarians and journalists on Saturday, seemingly due to the presence of Jaitley at the venue.

“I hv been asked 2 stay away. Reason vague, no international players @ 56 mind works, not body,” Azad tweeted in the morning, creating a flurry at the DPS ground where Jaitley was present in the stands. The match was completed without any further controversy as journalists suffered a defeat, their first in the last three years, against the MPs.

“The journalists normally have won, but this year the MPs seem to have started off well. But never underestimate the Indian media. It can always do better than the politicians,” Jaitley said.

Union ministers including Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore and Babul Supriyo represented the MP team captained by BCCI secretary Anurag Thakur, who was named man of the match for his 36-ball 65.

Mohan Bhagwat should instruct Modi to sack Arun Jaitley. Will he do so ? Never. Why ? Arun Jaitley and Mohan Bhagwat belong to the Brahmin community.

It is unbelievable that a sitting MP will dare to make allegations against a senior minister in a cadre party, unless he has the backing of the powers that be. Anti-veteran (OROP) stand by the MOF has cost the party heavily in state polls and the trend will continue unless those responsible are suitably dealt with. Therefore is it good bye or adios? What makes Rajiv Shukla of the INC eligible to administer cricket & Hockey. Was he a sportsman? When it comes to sports administration, BJP, NCP & Congress Netas are partners and when it comes to parliamentary duties they pretend to be enemies and fail to p essential people-friendly bills.

What has brahmin community got to do with anything? Come'on grow up. Mr jaitely has already taking up the case and filed defamation case against moron Kejriwal and his puppets for raking up an issue which is baseless. Why don't you ask the resignation for Kejriwal whosechief secretary was found to have Rs 20Lakh in Cash and several financial irregularities("COMMON MAN AAM AADMI"). Beautiful agenda to mask the true issue at hand. Kejriwal Doesn't have the guts to face Jaitely at this juncture.

Some people taste little success on-field. Kirti is one of among those. So is this controversy just to create some magic outside the field ?
