Yuvraj Singh was at his best while interacting with the media at the YWC Fashion Show press conference. The topic of conversation veered towards MS Dhoni – with the left handed batsman losing his place in the side under MS and that has drawn some strong reactions from Yuvi’s father Yograj. Yuvraj said that he is very excited about Dhoni’s upcoming biopic. “I’d like to see how I’ve been shown in the film,” he said jokingly.

When asked by a reporter about his plans on making a biopic on his life, Yuvraj joked that he himself is a pretty good actor, although many aspects of the potential film have not been finalised yet. He then said that the main thing he is concentrating on right now is getting back into the Indian squad. “That is my motivation. Hopefully I can do that and I’ll think about these things the day I finish my career,” he said

Numerous cricketers and Bollywood stars, including Amitabh Bachchan walked the ramp for Yuvraj’s YWC Fashion show. MS Dhoni’s absence in the show was pointed by some reporters. When asked if he hopes to gain the Indian ODI captain’s support for the cause in the future, Yuvraj said, “I think he is very busy. He doesn’t pick up my phone as usual, he won’t pick up anybody’s phone.”

Yuvraj then said that Dhoni must be very busy right now with the promotion of his biopic after the recently concluded two-match series in Florida.

The funds generated from the fashion show would go to Yuvraj’s cancer relief NGO ‘Youwecan.’ The NGO was formed shortly after Yuvraj’s successful battle against cancer.
