Riding high on David Warner’s 106 – the first hundred by an Australian on Sri Lanka soil in ODIs – Australia registered a comfortable five-wicket win over Sri Lanka and seal the series 4-1. Australia lost two early wickets but Warner and George Bailey (44) stitched a handy partnership to steady the visitors before Warner took off and made easy work of the 196-run target. Earlier, after electing to bat first, Sri Lanka were off to a brilliant start but lost their way after losing wickets at regular intervals. Plenty of batsmen were out in the 30s, and Starc, with figures of 3/40, was pick of the bowlers for the visitors.
