India start the five-match ODI series against New Zealand with a comfortable six-wicket win in Dharamsala on Sunday. Chasing a modest 191-run target, India lost openers early after brisk start but it was that man Virat Kohli who hit an unbeaten 85 to anchor the side home. Earlier, after electing to field first, India were on the money with the ball as new-ball combination of Hardik Pandya and Umesh Yadav rattled the visitors early. Apart from Tom Latham’s 79* and Tim Southee’s brisk fifty, no Kiwi batsmen failed to make mark. For India, Pandya’s 3/31 stood out on a good bowling day by the hosts.
