India beat Australia by 27 runs in the second T20I to take an unassailable lead in the three match series.

India sealed the T20I series with a convincing 27-run win the second match over Australia in Melbourne. Invited to bat first, India rode of fifties from Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli to post a total of 184/3. Australia began their chase and were cruising with openers Aaron Finch and Shaun Marsh before the Indian spinners once again applied the breaks and Australia imploded in the middle over to hand India the win. (REPORT: India seal series)
