South Africa completed a comprehensive win by 177 runs over Australia on the fifth day of the first Test in Perth.

Kasigo Rabada took a five-for and other South Africa bowlers came up with a inspiring performance to guide their team to a memorable 177-run win in the first Test of the three-match Test series against Australia. The Proteas now lead the series 1-0.

South Africa need six wickets on the fifth day and got three in the first session only in which Usman Khawaja was also included. He was dismissed for 97. Peter Nevill and Johs Hazlewood did delay the defeat and the tail wagged for bit but South Africa had too much time in their hands. Kesav Maharaj took the last wicket to bowl out Australia for 361 runs and hand his team the win.
