Team India coach Duncan Fletcher reflected on the absence of star batsman Kevin Pietersen from the England team at a press conference in Mumbai on Saturday, saying that it will make the tour ‘ more interesting’.  Here are some key points taken from his discussion with the media at the press conference:

* “It is a relatively young side. There is no baggage with the team. If we manage to win one game, then you never know what will be the further result of the tour”.

* “England has lost few players. Kevin Pietersen won’t be there which makes the tour more interesting”.

* “They (England) are also in re-building phase. We played good cricket in India and key will be to adapt to the conditions”.
