India put up a good batting performance and were helped by a horrendous last over bowled by West Indies captain Jason Holder. It seems the captain’s blunders rubbed off on the team as West Indies rarely ever looked like they had any intention of chasing down the 311-run target set by India. Their performance would have been one of resilience and determination had this been a Test match but here it almost looked as if they didn’t want to compete. In the end, India walked to their margin of victory in the Carribean.
India vs West Indies Match highlights: The moment that West Indies were looking for has come at long last. The last ball has been bowled and West Indies have kept themselves from being all-out, which seemed to be their only target in this chase. It was only for a brief period when Shai Hope provided some glimpse of what West Indies might look like if they decided to compete. But it has been a walk in the park for India.
