Indian spinners once again performed exceptionally well to bowl their team to massive 246-run win over England in the second Tes in Visakhapatnam. This is India’s second biggest win over England in terms of runs.

Resuming the day at 87 for the loss of two wickets, England needed to play out three sessions to save the Test. But those hopes were dented by R Ashwin when he picked up the first wicket of the day in the form of Ben Duckett. But England still had Joe Root on the other end and he was joined by Moeen Ali.

India attacked with spin from both ends on a pitch that was showing invariable bounce and assistance for spinners. That helped Ravindra Jadeja pick up the wicket of Ali when a ball bounce a bit too much and took the inside edge of Ali’s bat. It hit the thigh and lobbed up in the air for Virat Kohli to take a catch.

Ben Stokes was then bowled by an unplayable delivery by Jayant Yadav and later, Mohammed Shami used the new ball to a great affect to get the big wicket of Joe Root. Later, he dismissed Adil Rashid as well.

India picked up five wickets in the first session and needed only three wickets in the remaining two session to claim a win. But that was not needed.

In the second over after Lunch, Ashwin got the wicket of Zafar Ansari as he was bowled by a spinning delivery. Two overs later, Jayant picked up two wickets in two balls to wrap up the England innings.

England were bowled out for 158 in their second innings and that handed India the win in the match. Both teams will now travel to Mohali for the third Test of the series which begins from November 26.

Team India is now not a team like it was 2 or 3 decades ago. Now its performance is improving continuously and it is recording Victory over teams that have been a Cricket power. Well done #TeamIndia

Good news. India can improve its home games record because these teams like england , New Zealand , Australia , South Africa etc have rubbish spinners unlike teams like Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, stan . The problem for our overseas test records will be visible only when we travel and play tests on bouncy and fast pitches which will happen only next year
