Soon after guiding India to a nerve-wracking victory, a visibly exasperated Mahendra Singh Dhoni lashed out a scribe after being asked if he was contend with the one-run win over Bangladesh in the ICC World Twenty group match in Bengaluru. (STATS || POINTS TABLE || FIXTURES)

Dhoni walked into the press conference smiling, but it soon evaporated at the very first question, which not only took the India skipper by surprise but also left him furious.

Dhoni was asked how satisfied was he with the result, keeping in mind that India needed to win it big to improve their net run rate for brightening the semifinal prospects.

Rubbed the wrong way, Dhoni said, “I know you aren’t happy that India won today.”

As the reporter tried to clarify, Dhoni cut him short and added firmly, “Listen to me. Hearing you, your tone and your question, it’s clear that you aren’t happy that India has won. And when talking about a cricket match, there’s no script. It’s not about the script.”

Giving him a peace of his mind, Dhoni further said, “You have to analyse that after losing the toss, what was the reason that we couldn’t make many runs on that wicket. If you aren’t analysing these things sitting outside, then you shouldn’t ask this question.”

Jouranlists are quite stupid nowadays. All they want to do is sensatioanlize a non-issue into a controversial issue. Win is a win and that too when caught in a nerve racking situation batting first.

I think Dhoni should take now a different profession. What? He should represent National Political Party who are scare of sending before the media desk of TIMES NOW to face great Arnob Goswamy. On professional FEE he should sit to face this media great. Not a ticket holder member and definitely not supporting any political thinking. Will earn more than this present physical and mental anxiety.

One thing is proved from yesterday's match that the words of Bernard Shaw is 100% correct "11 fools are playing and 11000 fools are watching".

Dhoni was justified in his outburst. When one wishes to confront a professional they too should tutor themselves to ask relevant, related and pithy questions. Just aggressiveness and mocking ways will breed such replies only. Dhoni single handedly made the difference in that match. Even if someone doesn't want to acknowledge it belittling it was hitting below the belt. The outfit that journalist belongs to should review whether he deserves to represent them in such matters in future.

It is nice to know that calm and soft spoken Dhoni can also retaliate to rouge journalists who ask provocotavie questions. Instead of encouraging captaion the journalist was sarcastic and was trying to humiliate Dhoni. The same rouge journalist who made Maoist Kanhyia a hero was trying to make Dhoni a zero. Serve him right.

India should have lost the game. They did not deserve to win. The Bangladeshis made the horrible mistake of finsihing off the game with a six Indians batted and bowled very badly. Most of the BD Wickets were gifted to them

You dont need to be an internatinal cricketer to know how to get 2 runs from 3 balls did you notice not one indian cricket was close in to save the single, Both batsmen hit half hearted shots to hit a not needed boundry. lf you cant put a full toss over the ropes then when can you it stinks it was a fix

It was MSD's match. The journalist must not be the same, as I hope so, who interviewed earlier Sunny Leon because these kind of species don't understand the trauma a person goes through when he/she is fighting for survival. Dhoni is achiever by any standard.
