Australia to play Tests in Sri Lanka for first time in five years

Cricket Australia confirmed dates for a two-month tour beginning on July 11, playing three Tests, five ODIs and two T20 matches.

Australia will play its first cricket Tests in Sri Lanka in more than five years when it begins a three-match series from July 26.

Cricket Australia on Wednesday confirmed dates for a two-month tour beginning on July 11, playing three Tests, five one-day internationals and two Twenty20 matches.

The first test will be played in Kandy, the second beginning Aug. 4 in Galle and the third in Colombo from Aug. 13.

The ODIs are set for Aug. 21 and 24 in Colombo, Aug. 28 and Aug. 31 in Dambulla and Sept. 4 in Kandy, with the T20s to follow in Kandy on Sept. 6 and Colombo on Sept. 9.
