India seamer Mohammed Shami has been ruled out of the upcoming Asia Cup after it was decided to give the seamer more time to recover from injury.

Shami, returning after a long injury lay-off, returned home from Australia after injuring his left hamstring. The seamer needs more time to recover from the Grade II injury.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar, who replaced Shami in Australia, again returns to the squad.

    Shami;s career is finished. He has always hamgstring problem and selectors playing with his emotions and B Kumar. Find a good replacement in future for Shami, give him enough time to recover. B Kumar seems to be his alternative, really?
