Ajinkya Rahane hit the nets with his coach Praveen Amre ahead of the Asia Cup. The right-hander, who would find it tough to grab a spot in the playing XI, is leaving no stone unturned in preparing for the marquee tournaments.
Rahane’s net session, it seems, was focussed on the big hits as coach Amre kept a close eye on his ward from behind the net. Rahane played the three-match T20I series against Sri Lanka but is likely to make way for Virat Kohli in the Asia Cup fixtures.
