Two days after businessman was found murdered, wife held in Pune

OVER two days after a 43-year-old entrepreneur was found murdered in Bhosari MIDC area, local police have nabbed his wife and a person who used to be the driver for her brother.

The body of the deceased Vijay Subhedar Pawar, was found in his shop Shivam Enterprises, in sector seven of the MIDC area.

Police said Pawar was having a dispute with his wife Kanchan for some time.

Working on specific information, the police have now arrested Pawar’s wife Kanchan (37), one Satyavan Jadhav, who worked as a driver for her brother.

A police officer said that Pawar and his wife had a dispute over money for domestic expenses.

She came in contact with Jadhav during her visit to her brother’s home around seven months ago.

They decided to murder Pawar to get rid of him. On September 15, Jadhav murdered Pawar with a blunt object in his shop, where he was sleeping after consuming alcohol.

A police team arrested Jadhav from Bhor where he had fled after the murder and Kanchan from her home in Bhosari MIDC area.
