nawaz sharif, pakistan, pakistan news, pakistan army, pakistan international isolation, international isolation pakistan, india pakistan, pakistan border, india news Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has issued a warning to the military to act against terrorists or face international isolation.

India’s sustained efforts at Pakistan’s international isolation have started to show results in Pakistan as well. Pakistani newspaper Dawn reported that the Nawaz Sharif government has directed the military to act against terrorist groups including Jaish-e-Mohammad and its affiliates. The report highlighted friction between the power centres in Islamabad and Rawalpindi. It also added fresh attempts would be made to conclude Pathankot investigation and restart Mumbai attack trials in an anti-terrorism court.

The report quotes exchanges during an all-party meeting where reportedly military and ISI officials were also present. The paper quotes top sources present at the meeting and the statements come as a huge development as the Pakistani government seems to acknowledge the presence of terrorists and terror actors near the LoC and in PoK. Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has issued a warning to the military to act against terrorists or face international isolation.

After India carried out surgical strikes in Pakistan on terror launch pads on September 29, Pakistan has faced severe flak from international community. Even after repeated denials of the attack, not one country has backed it, including its allies in the Middle East and China. The latter has, in fact, indicated that Pakistan should carry out a course correction and the US has severely came down on the Pakistani authorities for not doing enough to curb terrorism in their country and allowing cross-border terrorism into India. The country got no respite at the UN. Pakistan has remained in a state of abject denial over the presence of terrorists in PoK or near the LoC. Sharif’s reported attempts to warn the ISI also indicate a visible rift between the forces that be in capital Islamabad and Pak GHQ — Pakistani military and ISI centre in Rawalpindi.

The meeting apparently took place on Monday and according to the outcomes, ISI DG Gen Rizwan Akhtar and National Security Advisor Nasser Janjua will personally deliver a message to provincial apex committees and ISI sector commanders in every province of the country. The report says that the decisions show a high-stake new approach by the PML-N government, and comes after a verbal confrontation between Punjab (Pakistan) CM Shahbaz Sharif and Gen Akhtar.

According to the report, the message was “military-led intelligence agencies are not to interfere if law enforcement acts against militant groups that are banned or until now considered off-limits for civilian action. Gen Akhtar’s inter-provincial tour has begun with a visit to Lahore.” It also added that Nawaz Sharif told the persons present in the meeting that “fresh attempts be made to conclude the Pathankot investigation and restart the stalled Mumbai attacks-related trials in a Rawalpindi anti-terrorism court.”

The report also quoted tense exchanges between ISI officials and Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif saying “Addressing Gen Akhtar, the younger Sharif complained that whenever action has been taken against certain groups by civilian authorities, the security establishment has worked behind the scenes to set the arrested free.”

For decades, Pakistani ISI and military intelligence have shielded and helped nurture terrorist groups in their country to carry out terrorism in India. With fresh reports claiming hundreds of terrorists preparing to infiltrate into India before the passes close in winters, Pakistan will need to act. Pakistan will come into extreme pressure from its allies who provide important economic and military aid to the country if it fails to act this time.

The danger of full isolation and sanctions loom large and state governments have started to show their displeasure with the ISI’s conduct in making sure that terror actors are allowed freedom to operate against India and that puts them on a lower moral and strategic position.

If stan comes up with an offer of real friendship, India should not hesitate to return the favor with double the affect. lt;br/gt;lt;br/gt;After all people come from same stock, If only Pak is ready to acknowledge this and if the Chinese are ready to let it go [stan has really tied up the knot with Chinese this time]! stan will never grow up or learn. Reports have already come in on the perenially and persistently unreliable nature of ertions. It will be business as usual for the Mercedes roaming corrupt generals once they are able to deflect public attention/opinion as their very existence in turn rests on their solely anti-india leanings. These generals do not know how to face a bullet or even their own foot soldiers and cannot survive without keeping-up their military tirade against india through ISI-driven terrorists and militant proxies. The attempt by political establishment to reign them in is a hogwash and intended to divert peoples' attention for the time being. It will require systematic cleansing operation from within territory through covert means that the systemic maladies can be suitably rectified... The talks with the political leadership is also therefore of no consequence.....

When do you think that the first murder took place? Most people would guess that the first murder was when Cain killed Abel. However, there was an earlier murder. When Satan took the form of a serpent and tempted Adam and Eve to sin, he caused them to sin and with that sin, they died (Genesis 2:17). This is why Jesus called Satan a murderer from the very beginning (John 8:44).lt;br/gt;lt;br/gt; Murder is something that is easy to understand as being wrong. God has always opposed murder. It is listed as one of the things that God finds abominable in Proverbs 6:16-19. The word abominable has an interesting meaning; it literally means something that makes you sick to your stomach. God is not a physical being who has a stomach to be made ill, but the word conveys the idea that God finds murder a disgusting concept.lt;br/gt;lt;br/gt; Many sins that men commit carry appropriate punishments for the sins. Even before Moses brought the Old Law to the Israelites, God gave mankind a command that murderers were to be put to death (Genesis 9:6). Some people think that killing murderers, called capital punishment, is a silly holdover from more primitive times that modern, civilized people should no longer practice. However, since God has commanded capital punishment, it would seem that a culture that does not kill its murderers shows a disrespect for the wisdom of God.lt;br/gt;lt;br/gt; To some people, killing a murderer is just another form of murder. To these people any taking of a life is wrong. Often, Exodus 20:13 is quoted, "You shall not kill." Some translations do render this verse in this way, but most good translations render the verse, "You shall not murder." The Bible makes a distinction between killing and murder. Obviously, from Genesis 9:6, there are times that killing must be done.lt;br/gt;lt;br/gt; In the same Old Law that gives the commandment to not murder, a distinction is made between premeditated and accidental killings. See Exodus 21:12-14, 29 and Deuteronomy 19:4-6. Premeditated murder was punishable by death. An accidental killing was not punishable by death.lt;br/gt;lt;br/gt; Under the Old Law, the nearest relative to a murdered person was igned the responsibility of seeing that the correct punishment was given to a killer. This person was called the avenger of blood. Obviously, there is a possibility that the avenger would not be totally impartial in the choice of punishment. However, he would be strongly motivated to see that some sort of punishment was carried out. In our society, a prosecutor would be equivalent to the avenger of blood.lt;br/gt;lt;br/gt; To balance the possibly overeager avenger, God established cities of refuge in the land of Israel. If a person accidentally killed a man, he would immediately run to the nearest city of refuge. The idea that if he did not get there soon enough, the avenger could justifiably kill him served as sufficient motivation for a person to turn himself in. In this manner, the Jews were able to function without a police force.lt;br/gt;lt;br/gt; Once the killer reached the city of refuge, the judges of the city would try the person's case. The avenger would serve as the prosecutor and the killer would be his own defense. The judges would establish whether the killing took place, if the man had done the killing, and whether there was prior hatred between the killer and the victim. If there the later was true, then it was umed that the killing was premeditated murder and the killer was put to death outside the city. If the judges determined the killing was accidental, then the man had to remain in the vicinity of the city until the current High Priest died. In other words, accidental killings were punished with a form of imprisonment. If the killer left the vicinity of the city before the High Priest died and the avenger happened across him, the avenger could kill the man without penalty. In other words, the Israelites had prisons without walls or guards, yet they were just as effective as our modern prison system. See Numbers 35:15-34 and Deuteronomy 19:1-13 for a discussion of these laws.lt;br/gt;lt;br/gt; Murder is wrong when innocent people are killed. It is wrong when a person is killed without a justifiable cause (I Samuel 19:5). It is wrong when a person is killed out of hatred (Exodus 21:12-14). Even governments can be guilty of murder when they allow innocent people to be killed within their borders and not extract proper punishment (Joel 3:19). Sometimes a government is even involved in killing innocent people. King Maneh had many innocent people killed during his reign in Judah (II Kings 21:16).lt;br/gt;lt;br/gt; The wicked are quick to shed innocent blood (Isaiah 59:4-8). After the deed is done, they try to cover up their wickedness or to justify themselves. Some will go so far as to p laws to justify their slaughter of the innocent (Psalms 94:20-21).lt;br/gt;lt;br/gt; Of course, Christians are not to practice murder. Remember that the difference between accidental killing and murder was whether a person hated the victim. In I John 3:15, Christians are told not to have hatred for their brethren. If you love your neighbor as yourself, then you will not commit murder (Romans 13:9). If you must suffer at the hands of a government, then you should suffer for being a Christian and not for a legitimate reason, such as for murder (I Peter 4:14-16).lt;br/gt;lt;br/gt; While we are on this topic, some people wonder if killing in war is against God's law. Once again remember that God said that murder was wrong. Some killing, at times, must be done. When two countries fight, it is rarely because of a personal hatred between the two armies. There is often a general hatred of the enemy, but not on a personal level. We also cannot claim that innocents are being killed when both sides take up weapons to fight, though killing of innocent bystanders would be wrong whether a war was going on or not. Throughout the Old Testament, God calls on the Israelites to take up arms against a nation. Sometimes the battles were in defense of the nation. At other times they were sent out by God to punish a sinful nation. In either case, killing was done with the approval of God. Hence, we must conclude that killing in war is not considered murder and is not a sin. Even in the New Testament, wars are not condemned. Often soldiers and their equipment are use to illustrate points in various lessons.lt;br/gt;lt;br/gt; Some people have a strong objection to killing of any sort. It is not wrong for them to follow their conscious and to avoid all violence by their own hands. However, at the same time they must understand that they cannot impose their views of non-violence on other people since God has authorized some violence in certain situations.

Nawaz Sharif is a puppet and he is allowed to make some noises against terrorists to show to western donors that the elected government is against terrorism. But the reality is ISI and Military are the real rulers. Either he will soon be overthrown or he will surrender to real rulers meekly.
