Three women of a tribal family were mowed down by a train near Anand railway station when they were trying to cross the rail tracks, police said Monday.
The incident took place Sunday evening about 35 km from Vadodara when the three came under the wheels of Gharib Rath Express when it was on its way to the railway station, they said.
The victims were returning home after offering prayers at a temple on Vidyanagar road.
The deceased have not been identified yet. Further probe is underway.
