Sniffer dog narrowly escapes IED blast in Odisha

The dog has been serving in the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) for four years now.

A brave sniffer dog got minor injuries when it narrowly escaped an improvised explosive device (IED) in Rayagada district of Odisha. The IED was suspected to be planted by alleged Naxal forces. The bomb was promptly defused by the bomb squad once it was detected.

Treatment was underway for the CRPF sniffer dog at a nearby hospital.
