Police said the post-mortem did not find any internal or external injury on the body, suggesting the death was natural.
The police had detained the women, but let her go after learning that she was reportedly mentally challenged.
As per details,Magan Rana (70) was unwell for the last few days and died on Saturday afternoon.
His 40-year-old daughter Kaushika,a qualified engineer, reportedly did not allow anybody to see the body, which she tried to cremate using a mattress later that night.
