A day after former Team Anna members urged Hazare to delink himself from Arvind Kejriwal’s political party and revive the “apolitical anti-graft movement”,Kejriwal said that all decisions of the India Against Corruption will be taken only after Anna’s approval, and “there’s no harm in going back to people and ask their opinion on whether or not a party should be formed”.

“I have immense respect for Sunita Godhara and the others, but their opinion is their own. Anna has said he will not be part of the political party if it is formed, and not that IAC should not form one. All decisions will be taken with his ashirwad. And we have faith that he will take the right decision for the people of this country,” Kejriwal said.

He said the decision of “whether the movement should take a political turn or not is an extremely important one”. “Therefore, there is nothing wrong in going back to the public for their opinion. When a phone number was announced for the survey two days ago, within an hour the server crashed.”
