The Samajwadi Party Sunday termed the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) an assemblage of anarchic elements and praised the people of the state who,by keeping themselves away from the untimely parikrama yatra, foiled the attempts of creating communal disharmony in the state.
SP spokesman Rajendra Chaudhary said the VHP members attack on the SP office in New Delhi was a blatant display of the fascist mindset of the organisation.
With this action, the VHP has proved that it has no faith in democracy and no respect for the Constitution. It is an assemblage of anarchic elements and it wants to impose its dictatorship on every one, Chaudhary said, demanding the Centre to take action against disruptive elements.
He said that despite the HC refusal to consider VHPs parikrama yatra as religious and traditional, the outfits insistence of continuing with it is a disregard for the law.
