Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh Saturday launched a scathing attack on former chief minister Prem Kumar Dhumal and his son Anurag Thakur in the wake of BJP leader Arun Jaitley’s charges of corruption against him.

Speaking at a public meeting at Chintpurni in Una district,Virbhadra said he had nothing to fear on the allegations being levelled against him by BJP leaders. He added that he would not spare anyone who had tried to grab prime land on the pretext of building a cricket stadium at Dharamshala.

He dared the father-son duo to approach any court to seek action against him instead of launching a campaign to malign him. “I thought with Assembly elections having ended, the BJP will settle down to the role of constructive opposition. But it’s strange that Dhumal and his family is up to vitiate the political atmosphere,” he said.

He expressed concern over the declining decency in state politics. “(BJP veteran) Shanta Kumar was also CM twice, but never in the past has a change in government caused such bitterness. The leaders used to maintain dignity,” he lamented.

Attacking HPCA,he said the cricket body has become a family venture indulging in land grabbing. Referring to the illegal phone tapping case,he said the BJP government was like regimes of Hitler,Mussolini and Stalin.
