Two Pak militants held at LoC,claims Army

A defence spokesperson said an operation was launched on a specific input.

The Army Tuesday arrested two armed Pakistani militants along the LoC in North Kashmir’s Tanghdar sector. The arrest comes days after the Army called off a big operation in neighbouring Keran sector.

A defence spokesperson said an operation was launched on a specific input.

“Army established cordon and surveillance points near LoC. The militants were challenged and overpowered by the troops,’’ he said. A pistol,two magazines,ammunition and an identity card issued by Pakistan occupied Kahmir were recovered from them,he said. The two were handed to local police after initial interrogation.
