Threat complaint against Pratibha Patil’s son

Police are investigating both the cases and no charges have been framed against the accused.

Police have received complaint against Amravati Congress MLA Rajendra Shekhawat for threatening Munna Alisha Ajhar,a former Congress worker,with gun on Monday. Shekhawat is the son of former President Pratibha Patil. A second complaint was filed by Deputy Mayor Nandkishore Warhade of NCP against Badnera independent MLA Ravi Rana.

Police are investigating both the cases and no charges have been framed against the accused.

Ajhar has alleged that at around 8 am on Friday,he was putting up a posters of NCP at Shyam Square when Shekhawat came to the spot. He was accompanied by his private secretary Sanjay Patil and two others. Ajhar alleged that Shekhawat pointed his gun at him and hurled abuses for putting up posters of NCP and not of Congress leaders.
