Writer-cinematographer Teja, who has worked in Telugu as well as Hindi films,is back with his tenth directorial film after a gap of four years. Titled Neeku Naaku Dash Dash, the film is a love story set in the backdrop of illicit liquor mafia.

Teja, who turned to direction with Ramoji Rao’s Telugu film Chitram with newcomers Reema Sen and Uday Kiran which was a hit,is introducing 42 actors including the lead pair Prince and Nandita Raj in Neeku Naaku… It has been shot in the forests of Paderu and other surrounding areas in the Andhra Pradesh – Odisha border where shooting a film is considered risky as the area falls under Naxal influence. The first half of the story is set in a small town and the second half takes place in a forest. For the first time a Red Epic digital camera was used to shoot a Telugu film. It has music by new composer Yashwanth Nag. Produced by V. Anand Prasad under the Bhavya Creations banner, the film will release shortly.
