In thin trading,prices of soda hydro sulphate rose by Rs 10 per kg in the national capital today on fresh demand from consuming units.

Traders said fresh demand from consuming industries against restricted arrivals from producing belts pushed up soda hydro sulphate prices in the wholesale chemical market here.

The following are today’s quotations: Ammonium chloride (50 kg) Rs 850-2,200,acetic acid (1kg) Rs 40-45,ammonia bicarb (25 kg) Rs 450-700,boric acid

technical (50 kg) Rs 5,500-6,000,borex granular (50 kg) Rs 2,400-2,800.
