Actor Shahid Kapoor is well-nigh fed up with all the attention that he has been receiving from a female fan. The die-hard loyalist has been following— rather stalking the actor at all times, valiantly trying to break his security cordon and enter his flat too! The high point to the whole drama came when she professed to be his wife. This obviously got the actor worked up and he has filed a police complaint against Vastavikta Pandit, daughter of late actor Raj Kumar. Now,that’s the price one has to pay for fame!

The select invitees

Not a person to miss an opportunity especially when it comes to matters close to her heart,Nita Ambani hosted a dinner at Antilla. Ban Ki Moon, the UN Secretary general who was on a four day trip to India was the guest of honour. Empowernment of the girl child and issues regarding child survival were on the agenda, which saw Bollywood personalities like Aamir -Kiran Khan,Shabana Azmi and Javed Akhtar,Vidya Balan in keen discussion.

Getting rowdy

The shooting of a song sequence of Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha’s Rowdy Rathore in Karnataka’s temple town of Hampi was disrupted after activists said that the minimum number of local dancers had not been used. The locals were miffed as the movie’s production house,Sanjay Leela Films, had not hired the stipulated 30 per cent local artistes as promised. Playing it safe, the producers are taking no chances and have decided to reschedule the shoot around the area.

The see saw game

Will they won’t they? That was the question doing the rounds. Finally, the decision has been made and Mallika’s number Laila in Priyadarshan’s film Tezz has been retained. But not without cajoling and convincing on the part of the producer Ratan Jain who had to travel all the way to Wai to convince the director. News though has it that the actress, will no longer be acting in Azaan actor Sachin Joshi’s film on the Mumbai underworld,Mumbai Mirrors as she is not very confident of her character in the film.

Justice rules

With the Sweedish whistle-blower in the Bofors scam giving him a clean chit,Amitabh Bachchan expressed relief and said that he felt exonerated after he was accused of links to alleged kickbacks in the controversial arms deal. The actor spoke about the turmoil he and his family had to undergo during the Bofors scam. “Nobody will be able to understand or fathom the hours and days, months and years of anguish he and his family had to undergo,” says the actor.

On the fast track

Actors Anil Kapoor and Ajay Devgn were recently spotted at the F1 racing event in New Delhi. The duo were present to promote their upcoming film Tezz and competed in a friendly race organised for the purpose. Probably they felt the need to experience the pulsating moments as Ajay Devgn zipped past to reach the winning post. Speed is all that matters and of course who reaches the goal first. Remains to be seen whether the film will bring in the moolah real Tezz!
