Select grains showed weakness as prices moved down by up to Rs 40 per quintal in the wholesale grains market today on sluggish demand against adequate stocks positions.

Traders said reduced offtake by flour mills mainly led to the decline in wheat dara prices.

Adequate stocks position against subdued demand from consuming industries kept pressure on other grain prices, they said.
