Learning about discontent expressed by several political parties, especially UPA ally NCP,over the rail budget,Railway Minister Pawan Kumar Bansal said on Wednesday that he would like to hold talks with them to sort out issues.
I did not quite understand what their (NCP) reason for discontent was. I am ready to talk to them to know the reason, Bansal said. He said he is also open to discussing specific issues with former ally TMC if they are willing to come forward.
NCP chief Sharad Pawar had on Tuesday said at the UPA coordination committee that the government has totally neglected the problems faced by 80 lakh commuters in Mumbai and is not acceptable.
