The Sixth Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate deferred the hearing on separate petitions by B Ramalinga Raju seeking bail and special status in jail,till January 22. The court also deferred to January 22 hearing on a petition by Sebi seeking permission to record statements of Raju,his brother Rama Raju and former Satyam CFO V Srinivas. On January 22,the three of them would be produced in court when the four-day custody with the CID expires. In a related development,The Andhra Pradesh High Court dismissed petitions seeking a direction to quash a lower court’s order sending the three of them to police custody. The HC dismissed the three revision petitions filed against the lower court’s order on police custody.
