On the auspicious day of Gudi Padwa,Underground Films Pvt. Ltd. announced the launch of the remake of Anees Bazmee’s hit No Entry in Marathi. Titled No Entry …Pudhe Dhoka Aahey!,the film is produced by Premnath Rajagoplan and Nikhil Saini and directed by Milind Arun Kavde.

Talking about remaking the film in Marathi,Kavde says that the original was actually in Telugu which was then made in Tamil. “The Hindi one was the third version and now we are making it in Marathi because it has been a superhit thrice. So it is a sure-shot winner,” says the director,who has already had one release Yedyachi Jatra and 4 Idiots is coming up in May.

As for No Entry …Pudhe Dhoka Aahey!,the film is to take off on May 15 on different locations in Goa wherein songs and scenes will be canned. Then the unit will move to Mumbai and Lonavala in June. “My film will have some new twists and characters and though contemporary,the comedy will be made to suit Marathi culture,” says Kavde.

Bharat Jadhav,Ankush Choudhari,Aniket Vishwasrao,Kranti Redkar,Saie Tamhankar,Manava Naik and Sai Lokur have been roped in to play the lead roles that had been essayed by Anil Kapoor,Salman Khan,Fardeen Khan,Lara Dutta,Bipasha Basu,Celina Jaitley and Esha Deol respectively in the Hindi version.

The four songs in the film have been set to tunes by Sargam Nakash from the lyrics penned by Guru Thakur. The film will be readied to release during Diwali.
