Senior Congress leader Digvijaya Singh cited the 2011-12 NSSO’s BPL figures to take on Modi,a day after he launched a scathing attack on the UPA and Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi, mocking the food security law and arguing that those born with golden spoon don’t understand poverty. He had also referred to the poverty line criteria of Planning Commission to attack the UPA government.
