The cyber crime police officers have handed over the ‘objectionable’ video clip, allegedly showing actor Mona Singh unclothed,to the forensic laboratory to find out the IP address of the computer through which it was circulated and whether the video was morphed as claimed by Singh.

Police said the video, posted online, seems to be a mobile clipping shot from a laptop for a computer screen.

Police are trying to find out whether the video had been uploaded from a mobile phone or a computer. “The IP address of a computer can be obtained. However,if the clip has been uploaded from a mobile phone it could be difficult to track down the source,” said a police officer from the cyber crime police station. Himanshu Roy,joint commissioner of police (crime),said,“We are investigating the source of the video.”

Singh had recently approached the cyber rime police station in Bandra (East) to investigate an MMS allegedly showing her in the nude.

Mona Singh shot to fame with her role in the popular TV serial Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahin.
