J-K avalanche toll rises to 18

SRINAGAR: The death toll in the massive twin avalanches in Kashmir Valley reached 18 as search teams found the body of one of the two missing soldiers in Gurez sector of Bandipora district on Sunday. The IAF,meanwhile,rescued 11 civilians from Sonmarg area as authorities issued a fresh avalanche warning in the area.

Chennai: Bihar cops identify another body

PATNA: Bihar Police has identified the second person,of the five killed in the encounter in Chennai,as Sujay Rai from Gauricjak near Patna. A Chennai Police personnel who arrived here on Saturday had provided photographs and video footage of the five killed in the encounter.

Explosives seized in Bihar village raid

PATNA: Rohtas police,in a raid,on Sunday morning seized a huge amount of raw materials used to make explosives from Bansa village under Sasaram police station. The village reportedly supplies explosives to ultras.
