Jayaram now gets ready for a comeback in Tamil,with Sabash Sariyaana Potti,a full-length comedy flick.

Actor Jayaram has not been able to deliver solo hits lately in Malayalam films. However,he now gets ready for a comeback in Tamil,with Sabash Sariyaana Potti,a full-length comedy flick. It is directed by Venu Aravind,who is quite popular as an actor on the telly and who plays the lead role in the film.

The film is about a superstar of Tamil movies (played by Venu Aravind) who has a massive fan following and plans to make his entry into politics. But that doesnt happen as he is afraid of the consequences. Sriranjini is the heroine of the film,which has music composed by Thaman.

Vijay to play the lead in Vikram Kumars next
After Yavarum Nalam,director Vikram K. Kumar is now going to do a film with Vijay,the mass hero of Tamil Cinema,who is also popular as Illaya Thalapathy. To be produced by A.M. Rathinam,it would be an action-packed film.Vikram Kumar is himself penning the script.

Arjunan Sakshi set to roll in October
Prithvirajs Arjunan Sakshi,in which he teams up with director Ranjith Shankar,is all set to take off. Ranjith Shankar who had no prior experience in films in any capacity scripted and directed his debut film Passenger,which went on to become one of the biggest hits last year. While Ranjith worked with Dileep,Sreenivasan and Mamta Mohandas in his debut film,his second movie will have Prithviraj and Padmapriya in lead roles.

Ranjith Shankar will write the script of Arjunan Sakshi and it will be produced by S.Sundarrajan under the banner of SRT Films. Laloo Aalex,Nedumudi Venu,Jagathy Sreekumar,Suraaj Venjaramoodu and Salim Kumar comprise the rest of the cast. The film will start rolling by October this year.

Dileep in Madhu Kaithaprams film
Actor Dileeps next film is to be directed by Madhu Kaithapram,who had made a very impressive directorial debut with Ekantham. His second film Madhyavenal was a sensitive movie with Shwetha Menon delivering a scintillating performance.

In this film,Dileep will play the role of an advocate Jagathy Sreekumars clerk. Priyanka is the heroine. C.V. Balakrishnan will pen the script based on story by Rahim Kadavath. The music will be scored by Kaithapram Vishwanath and the lyrics will be penned by Kaithapram Damodaran Namboothiri.

Ravi Tejas brothers in drug-dealing case
Ravi Teja,who is celebrating the success of his latest release Don Seenu,got a major shock when his brothers Raghu Babu and Bharath were arrested recently in a drug-dealing case.

The duo was arrested recently,along with two other people,one of them a Ugandan national on the Road No.3 in Banjara Hills,Hyderabad. Some cocaine too has reportedly been seized from them. Raghu Babu and Bharath were caught buying drugs from the Ugandan national. After the medical tests they were produced in court. The Nampally Court has remanded them to 14 days of police custody. The Tollywood-drug mafia links are getting clearer with this direct involvement of Ravi Tejas brothers. Earlier this year two producers were arrested in drugs-related cases.

Pawan Kalyan spotted at Mumbai airport
Superstar Pawan Kalyan was recently seen at Mumbai Chatrapati Shivaji International Airport along with producer Krishnam Raju of Aditya Productions. They were to board a flight to Tel Aviv -Israel by Gulf Airways. They were going for the mahurat and shooting of an untitled film to be made in Telugu,Malayalam,English and Hindi.
