Union Minister Shri-prakash Jaiswal on Thursday put a question mark on Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati’s “sanskar” (upbringing) for calling a woman, who had tried to meet her at a rally in Gorakhpur last Monday,an opposition “pet dog”.

As reported by The Indian Express on Thursday, the woman had only wanted to complain to her that the police were not lodging an FIR in the case of her son’s death.

Responding to a query in this regard on Thursday,Jaiswal told reporters,“Are you talking about her language? As is the language and sanskar,so is the manner of reaction. Her reaction was as per her sanskar. UP voters will decide accordingly.”

He said the high turnout in the first phase of UP elections indicated a wave in favour of the Congress.
