India should still grow at nearly 7 pc,says Kamath

Notwithstanding the last quarter numbers at 5.3 per cent,India should see a growth rate of near 7 per cent,a top banker said here.

“Looking at the mood-swings at the industry level… India should still see growth at near 7 per cent,” ICICI Bank managing director and CEO K V Kamath said at a conference here. “I dare say if we are looking at a 7 per cent growth for the year-ending March,we should look at at least 7 per cent growth for the year going ahead too,” he said.
