Hardline Andrabi’s 3 nephews in Pak held in terror case

Arrests of Mohammad Shuaib Andrabi,Irtiaz Geelani and Mujahid Geelani from near Islamabad was reported by Dawn Tuesday.

Kashmiri separatist leader and head of Dukhtaran-e-Millat Syeda Aasiya Andrabi Tuesday said three of her nephews living in Pakistan had been arrested in a terror case there.

Arrests of Mohammad Shuaib Andrabi,Irtiaz Geelani and Mujahid Geelani from near Islamabad was reported by Dawn Tuesday. The daily said police had recovered a huge cache of arms and four remote-controlled aircraft.

Andrabi said Irtiaz is an aeronautical engineer,Mujahid a doctor,and Shuaib had recently passed his class 12 exams. She said they were innocent and would never think about violating Pakistan’s sovereignty.

“For them the sovereignty and integrity of Pakistan is very dear. They have preferred Pakistan over Kashmir,” she said,adding that their families were not clear why they had been arrested.
