Hardcore Maoist arrested in Orissa

A Hardcore Maoist,who is a close associate of Maoist central committee member Modem Balakrishna as well as a former associate of renegade Maoist Sabyasachi Panda,was arrested on Wednesday in the forests of Kandhamal district by a joint team of CRPF,district police and District Voluntary Force.

A Hardcore Maoist,who is a close associate of Maoist central committee member Modem Balakrishna as well as a former associate of renegade Maoist Sabyasachi Panda,was arrested on Wednesday in the forests of Kandhamal district by a joint team of CRPF,district police and District Voluntary Force.

Mathews Bedbaka,a 30-year-old SLR-wielding cadre since last four years who was involved in several bomb blasts including the infamous ambulance blast of November 2010,was picked from his hideout in Meragudi village at Kotagarh area of Kandhamal during a joint combing operation.

Mathew,who hails from Rayagada district,is also a suspect in an explosion near Srirampur on January 5,2012 in which three police personnel died. He worked along with Sabyasachi Panda till the latter was expelled in August 2012 from the party.
