Gehlot kicks off Food Security in Rajasthan

The scheme was launched after conducting an extensive survey and adding new beneficiaries to the state’s existing list.

Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot Wednesday launched the Food Security scheme in Rajasthan,where it will reach 4.64 crore beneficiaries. The scheme was launched after conducting an extensive survey and adding new beneficiaries to the state’s existing list. As part of the scheme,food grains at subsidised rates will be distributed at all ration shops through the public distribution system. “After conducting an extensive survey for three months,around 90 lakh families,about 4.64 crore people,have been listed as beneficiaries,” Gehlot said.
