While India has provided complete access to the FBI in the Mumbai terror attacks investigation,the same favour has not been extended to some other countries which demanded access on the ground that their citizens too had been killed. It’s learnt that Malaysia and Singapore — both of whom lost one citizen each — had wanted to interrogate Ajmal Amir Kasab but were refused permission by New Delhi. The Government,thereafter,has decided against broadening the basket of agencies and put a stop to entertaining any such requests barring from the FBI.
