India has full faith in the Afghan investigation agencies.

India will follow with “laser-like precision” developments in Indian author Sushmita Banerjee murder case after it emerged the plot to kill her was hatched in Pakistan,which it termed as “disturbing”.

“The governor of Paktika province has indicated to our Ambassador that those who are involved in this… seem to be from the Pakistan Taliban. The indication that they were based from areas beyond Afghanistan… is extremely disturbing for us..,” the spokesperson in the External Affairs Ministry said here.

He said India has full faith in the Afghan investigation agencies and they have informed that so far 6-7 people have been arrested in the case.
