Police sources said a complaint was registered against Ferreira and his cousin Peter Dominic Ferreira,a Canadian national,November 25,2013,by Gorai resident Cyril Hendricks. The two had allegedly sold a plot in Gorai to two builders, which Hendricks said had been sold to his mother in 1935.
