A six-year-old schoolgirl was critically injured when the driver of her schoolbus,who was apparently listening to music on his earphones,failed to hear warnings from passersby and run over her just seconds after she got off the bus

A six-year-old schoolgirl was critically injured when the driver of her schoolbus,who was apparently listening to music on his earphones,failed to hear warnings from passersby and run over her just seconds after she got off the bus.

“Zahra was critical on Wednesday but has now been declared out of danger,” said Dr Ashok Hatolkar medical superintendent of Nanavati Hospital .

The incident took place around 6.15 pm on Wednesday. Zahra,had got off the schoolbus and was crossing the road when driver Sanjay Das started driving and hit her.
