Copper,zinc prices remain weak on global cues

Sentiment remained weak as copper declined in global markets after a report of slowing growth in Australia.

Copper and zinc prices fell further by Rs 2 per kg in the local non-ferrous metals market today largely on weakening global trend.

Meanwhile,copper declined 0.2 per cent to USD 7,617.75 a tonne on the London Metal Exchange.

In the national capital,copper mixed scrap and zinc in got remained under selling pressure and shed Rs 2 each to Rs 391 and Rs 107-111 per kg,respectively.
