While a price tag has already been put on Narendra Modis public meeting in Andhra Pradesh,Shivraj Singh Chouhan will let people decide the amount. The Madhya Pradesh chief minister will appeal to people to donate towards his partys election fund when he embarks on a Janashirwad Yatra from July 22.
The appeal will be repeated in each of his 224 public meetings and 500 meetings that he will address from a customised rath that will cover 8,000 km,crisscrossing 224 Assembly constituencies.
The money collected during the exercise will be handed over to Chouhan on September 25 at Bhopal, where the yatra will culminate in the presence of the national leadership.
State party president Narendra Tomar said that the money raised during the Janashirvad Yatra will be spent on the ensuing Assembly elections. He said that no target had been set for the amount to be raised.
